The project came about after he received a letter from a professional musician who had been looking into a new guitar playing technique called the "pitch-to-pitch" technique. According to FP, the idea of a low, bass-based vocal instrument originated when he was growing up in Boston, Massachusetts.
"I was playing the piano at school, I had my first piano, and I played it for a while, because it was pretty good," FP says. "I just thought it was really cool. It was something that I could really sing to or something in between. And my mom taught me that all the time, and she had a really good musical ear."
After that, he found out that a little bit about the technique could help him learn chords.
"My mom took me to a piano and she learned how to play chords, and I got to play a chord a lot more big artist EDM," FP
